About the Journal

The Law and Society Students' Journal (LSSJ) is an open access annual students' journal. Each paper submitted to this journal is reviewed by two anonymous reviewers, followed by further reviews by the members of the editorial body. The LSSJ invites your submission of disciplinary or inter-disciplinary scholarly articles, case studies, and book reviews.

The journal accepts articles on themes and cross-cutting issues that stand at the intersection between law and society. The authors, therefore, should be able to show how their articles contribute to the understanding of how the law impacts the broader society and, concurrently, how social phenomena give the shape and the forms that laws take in present-day societies.

This is a DOAJ indexed open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
